Created
for those who enjoy the elegance and power
of the Rolls Royce Phantom but prefer a something
a bit smaller, the Phantom Drophead Convertible
is ten inches shorter than the standard Phantom
but still wide enough, with four doors, to
offer comfort amidst other luxury car rental
convertibles, which often only have two doors.
Powered by
a 6.7-liter V12 engine, the Drophead Coupe
produces 453 horsepower and 531 pound-feet
of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission
sends power to the rear wheels while several
standard safety features, including run-flat
tires, antilock brakes, traction and stability
control, a pop-up rollover protection system,
active front head restraints and rear and
front parking cameras prevent accidents and
protect riders should a collision occur.
Standard features
include an adjustable air suspension system,
bi-xenon headlights, LED running lamps, a
two-piece trunk lid, parking sensors, powered
front seats and a steering column with memory.
Extravagant optional features include 21-inch
wheels in chrome or alloy, visible exhausted,
a brushed stainless hood and several exterior
paint combinations.
What makes
the Drophead a truly unique exotic car rental
are the rear-hinged “coach” doors
that making entering and exiting the car much
more graceful and the extravagant soft top.
Made of five different layers and available
in six colors, the top is covered and protected
by a yacht-like tonneau finished entirely
in teak.
Like a true
Rolls Royce car rental, the Phantom Drophead
spares no detail on interior design and amenities.
Power closing doors, front and rear heated
seats, a multi-zone climate control, keyless
ignition/entry, Bluetooth capabilities and
a navigation system are all standard while
several options can be added. For an extra
fee, custom leather upholstery and wood trims
are available and the back seat can be made
in to a living room on wheels. From a humidor
and wine cooler to an entertainment system
with flat screen TV’s and a DVD player,
the skies the limit.
