Offering
redesigned interior elements and an upgraded
infotainment system, the 2008 Aston Martin
DB9 is a must have on every exotic car rental
list. Powered by a 6.0-liter V-12 engine,
the car generates 450 horsepower and produces
420 pounds-feet of torque and comes in two
models: the coupe and the Volante.
This
luxury car rental is available as either a
six-speed manual gearbox or a button-controlled
six-speed automatic and can reach speeds of
186 mph. All-disc antilock brakes, seat-mounted
side-impact airbags and an advanced electronic
stability system are standard safety features.
Those
looking in to an Aston Martin car rental will
be impressed by the luxurious revisions made
to the interior of the DB9. Additional cabin
stowage, coat hooks, a redesigned center armrest,
new sun visors, heated front seats, an umbrella,
a navigation system and Bluetooth connectivity
are all standard. The 2+2 seating features
Bridge of Weir leather and a walnut, mahogany
or bamboo wood trim is available. When starting
the car, drivers need not use a key but simply
press a clear glass button.
The
exterior features a long aluminum hood and
side strakes on the front quarter panel. Drivers
may opt to install a Sports Pack on the coupe,
which is characterized by five-spoke aluminum
alloy wheels, a revised undertray, a lower
ride height and a reworked front anti-roll
bar so the vehicle handles better.
The
Volante fabric top folds down so that the
exterior appearance is not affected. To prevent
a potential rollover, sensors are installed
and twin roll-hoops will be deployed should
the need occur. Handling well, the car rides
effortlessly on the curviest of roads and
is known for being one of the most extravagant
wheels on the road today.
